In 1890 a bunch of fearless Spaniards crossed the seas in search of a dream, founding the first brewery in Asia.
By 1903 San Miguel began to flourish with additional breweries opening in Shanghai, Guam, and in Hong Kong. During the 1940’s and 50’s San Miguel became a favourite of Americans in the South Pacific.
In 1953 San Miguel journeyed back west to Madrid.
By 1960 San Miguel’s reputation for excellence spread opening breweries across Europe and even further into the Far East.
Today San Miguel can be found in over 40 countries worldwide.
